Summer 2012 Mission Trip Requirements


Hi all,
We had a great turn out for EYC on Sunday night and response to our summer 2012 mission trips!  The spring fundraising events will help to offset the cost for each missionary who would like to participate in our upcoming trips – the Hometown Mission Project which is Sunday, June 24th - Monday, June 25th and Pittsburgh Project which is Monday, July 23 – Friday, July 27th.   Fundraisers will also help cover transportation costs to Pittsburgh.  Successful fundraisers help us keep to a minimum the cost that each missionary must pay out of pocket!

Please see the requirements below for each of your children to participate in the upcoming mission trips.

Gas Light Theatre on Saturday, March 3rd.  We need casseroles for the dinner provided for the theatre.  Please sign up with Harper to provide a casserole for which she has the recipes and dishes.  We also need youth to serve the dinner from 5:30 til 10:00 p.m. (?); grades 8 and up asked to participate if available.  Please sign up with Harper.  

Pasta Supper and Auction 2012:  The auction is scheduled for Wednesday, April 18th from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall.  Each missionary is asked to provide at least $25 worth of auction items (gift certificates, paintings, jewelry, gently used items, etc.)  Each Pittsburgh missionary family will be asked to provide a homemade lasagna and homemade dessert for the auction dinner.    Questions?  Please do not hesitate to contact Harper Lewis at saec.harper15@verizon.net or Melissa Saunders at mwsaunders@cox.net .
